Born and raised in the vibrant city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, he has accumulated a variety of experiences across continents. His journey, defined by resilience and curiosity, has shaped him into an individual with a strong interest in business, travel, and community. This journey has taken him from the busy streets of Hong Kong to the historic alleys of Athens, the ancient wonders of Egypt, the busy atmosphere of Washington D.C and finally to the scenic landscapes of Colorado.

Education and Early Career:
Daniel’s academic pursuits led him to earn a B.A. degree in Economics and diploma in Accounting. His early career unfolded within the structured walls of banking institutions. However, the allure of entrepreneurship beckoned, and he soon joined forces with business partners to explore uncharted territories.

Global Adventures:
Daniel’s passport bears witness to his global adventures. His first trip to Hong Kong—a blend of business and pleasure—left a lasting impression. In China, he explored bustling industrial parks, while the vibrant streets of Bangkok introduced him to delicious street seafood. Egypt surprised him with its congested roads, chaotic driving, and constant honking. Finally, Athens, with its ancient history and vibrant energy, became a temporary home during his two-year stay.

Entrepreneurial Ventures:
Upon returning to Ethiopia, Daniel embarked on entrepreneurial endeavors. He established his own food distribution business and later expanded into importing vehicles from Dubai and Germany. His frequent visits to Dubai left a lasting impression—the city’s beauty, especially at night, captivated him, even though the heat was intense.

The American Dream:
In May 2016, Daniel made a pivotal decision—to call the United States home. He settled in Colorado after having spent time in various parts of the country back in 2012 and 2013, ultimately choosing Colorado as his final destination. Leveraging his hometown work experience, he served the banking industry for three and a half years. Yet, his aspirations reached beyond corporate walls. Daniel envisions opening his own small accounting firm, catering to fellow entrepreneurs’ financial needs.

“Dozens” Legacy:
Simultaneously, Daniel manages “Dozens,” a historic American breakfast place. For the last 42 years, it has been a beloved breakfast spot in Aurora, serving generations of patrons. His role as manager allows him to continue the restaurant’s legacy in a fresh and meaningful way.

The Quest Continues:
At 48, Daniel finds himself in a contemplative phase, openly acknowledging that he is still on a quest to discover his life's ultimate purpose. The real estate industry beckons, driven by the demands of his clients. However, he recognizes that this may not be his final destination. Daniel embraces the idea that life is a continuous journey, filled with potential for growth and evolution, and he eagerly awaits the next chapter in his ongoing pursuit of fulfillment and meaning.

Family Ties:
Daniel's family, including his wife, a self-employed professional, and their two children, serves as his anchor. His oldest child's fascination with engineering resonates with Daniel's curiosity. In contrast, his younger child's passion for fashion brings vibrancy to their household. Together, they create a dynamic and balanced family unit. Through their shared interests and diverse pursuits, Daniel finds strength and fulfillment in his family life.
